Mr. Rosenberg is a licensed Architect with more than twenty years of experience in architecture and real estate development-related fields. His design experience includes hotels, restaurants, retail centers, office buildings, industrial, recreational, and institutional projects and tenant improvements in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. His design philosophy focuses on the whole picture, bringing his clients’ real estate development, investment, management, and construction goals into perspective, with the goal of having a practical design that adds value to projects.
Prior to joining JN+A, Mr. Rosenberg was president of Rosenberg A+I, P.C., a full-service architecture, planning, and interiors firm founded in 1996. Mr. Rosenberg was formally trained as an architect, but also spent time on the owner’s side with First Washington Management and with CSN Management, the then-property management arm of Washington Real Estate Investment Trust.
At JN+A, Mr. Rosenberg is responsible for providing management and leadership to the architectural staff. He supervises the creation of project construction documents and specifications by the architectural staff. He reviews consultants’ contracts and coordinates with project team members and consultants. He provides in-house peer reviews for quality control and collaborates in critical thinking and problem solving drawing from his years in private practice and as an owner’s representative.
Mr. Rosenberg is a registered Architect in nine states and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects, is certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards, and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He received a Bachelor of Design (Architecture) from the University of Florida, a Masters of Architecture from the University of Maryland, and a Master of Science in Real Estate from Johns Hopkins University. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at Johns Hopkins in the Master of Science in Real Estate Program.
