JN+A and HVS Design provided Architecture and Interior Design services for the new, ground-up Hotel Zero Degrees in Danbury, Connecticut. This is the third location for the boutique brand. The property has 114 guestrooms, a 100-seat restaurant, a 2,600-sq.-ft. ballroom, exterior patios, and an outdoor fireplace. For the project, JN+A and HVS Design used the natural elements of the local landscape, from its modern lodge exterior to its eclectic, curated interiors, according to the company. The focal point of the open lobby is a two-story fireplace that is wrapped in metal and stone.
